Wuhan Aoxin Elite School(WAES),formerly known as the Wuhan Australian International School (WAIS), was officially established in 2016 and accredited by the Wuhan Bureau of Education as a Y1-Y9 school. With the national curriculum at the core, and a high-quality completion as its foundation, WAES adopts advanced education concepts and teaching methods to develop students' comprehensive ability, to broaden their visions, and to encourage students to become lifelong learners who can adapt to and change the future. In April 2020, after going through an official accreditation process, WAES became the first IB (International Baccalaureate) world school for the PYP (Primary Years Programme) in Hubei province. Furthermore, in September 2019, WAES also became a candidate school for IB MYP (Middle Years Programme). A High School was also established within the Aoxin Group, to bridge the gap between Middle school and High school.
